Paul Krasner started the unique magazine, The Realist, considered the forerunner of the underground press that flourished in the 1960's.

RARE! Original "Wanted" poster, distributed in San Francisco by the F.B.I.! Patty Hearst Shaw is the grandaughterof publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst and great-granddaughter of self-made millionaire George Hearst, she gained notoriety in 1974 when, following her kidnapping by the Symbionese Liberation Army (a revolutionary anti-government group), she ultimately joined her captors in furthering their cause.

This concert was a benefit for the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic and The Athaneum Arts Foundation It took place 8-30 through 9/2 1968. The bands that played are not listed on the poster, only on the handbills and included (to name a few): The Grateful Dead, Big Brother, Quicksilver, Santana, Steve Miller, Kaleidoscope, and the Sons of Champlin, to name only a few.
